Architecture Annex Intervention
Professor Deutch | Fall 2024 | Revit
Location: Urbana, IL, United States
While preserving the traditional Georgian facades characteristic of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, this intervention seamlessly integrates modern design elements with the existing historic architecture.

Motivations
A program with three main goals: to provide secondary workspaces for group work, to renovate the existing building for future first and second-year architecture students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and to create a dedicated space for students to come back to after their initial years at the school.
A program aimed at expanding the availability of small group work areas adjacent to the architecture studios within the Architecture Annex.

Preliminary studies were conducted to understand the original composition of the annex.
